"PRRT did certainly help me. My knee which I thought was completely going to go out from an old injury was 200% better!!
Read more...Also, the first couple of days and as of today my emotional health has improved quite significantly. The very next day, I dealt with a very stressful situation quite well!! I still am dealing with my spine. I had a deep tissue massage the following Friday. It held only for a couple of days. Thank you for your therapy. I think it is incredible and I have told other people about it. I know you told me we would know within two or three sessions whether it woud work or not. I know it will help me and of course it already has. Thank you."

"After experiencing nearly 2 years of constant, nagging pain in various areas of my body, Ernie's use of the Primal Reflex Release Technique™ has alleviated almost all of the pain, in about 6 sessions! During this time period I have maintained all my normal activity level/exercise (walking, Bikram yoga, dance, skiing).
Read more...If I do experience any pain during these activities, which is rare, it quickly subsides. I have had very regular and frequent chiropractic care and massage during the past 2 years in the hopes of alleviating the pain. I have also been Rolfed and done extensive yoga, none of which relieved the pain for any significant length of time. I was about to try acupuncture, when I happened upon Ernie and his remarkable skill/ability to relieve the pain. It is truly a miracle. I am forever thankful to be free of the ongoing pain and to continue my active lifestyle, pain-free! Thank you."

"I was really quite skeptical about this treatment technique because I had never heard anything about it nor have I talked with anyone who had ever head PRRT.
"I have had chronic right shoulder and neck stiffness/pain for at least 10 years or more probably due to the repetitive motion of my work (optometrist).
Read more...At times the muscles of the right side of my neck/upper back and shoulder would be so tense they would feel almost like steel. The pain would on occasion wake me up once or twice per night. During the day I would have to move and massage my shoulder to keep the discomfort from becoming painful. I would do this frequently enough that everyone would know that my shoulder was bothering me. I had the doctor check for a rotator cuff injury and found nothing. I tired medications and they only minimally eased the discomfort. Massage therapy only lasted for about one day. Acupuncture and Chiropractic adjustments dropped the discomfort (on a scale of 10) from 10 to about 2 or 3. The two treatments of PRRT dropped the discomfort from 10 to near 0. It was the first time in about 10 years that my shoulder felt near normal. Since then the stiffness is starting to return at work but not to the same level as before the treatment, so I am looking for someone to continue treatment. I certainly did not expect as much relief in two treatments for something that has been bothering me for so many years. The treatment was much more comfortable than any chiropractic adjustment or acupuncture needles, it was as comfortable as massage therapy. I would be happy to recommend PRRT for anyone who has muscle stiffness and pain."

"I can't say that I know what you did to get rid of my pain. The treatment was so subtle and gentle. All I can say is that after trying chiropractic and massage therapy, you were the only one to diagnose the problem and then eradicate the pain I had been suffering with for quire some time.
Read more...The pain in my left side was most debilitating and was apparent on most movements. Through your thoughtful and considered approach, the pain started to decrease almost immediately and disappeared completely in a matter of only a few weeks. Your diagnosis of two stuck ribs surprised me, but based on the outcome I am sure you were right. I am essentially pain free in that area and couldn't be more grateful for your help."

"When I first came to physical therapy I was in a lot of pain. I had a pinched nerve that ran down my right leg all the way to my ankle. The pain I had hurt so bad I could hardly get around. No matter what I did; it hurt standing, sitting, and walking.
Read more...The only way I got relief was lying down with it elevated. I was up to 4 or 5 pain pills a day. Not a good way to function.
"I had foot surgery in 2001. When I was on the operating table some how my nerve got pinched and my right thigh has been numb ever since.
"A few days after surgery I went to a chiropractor because they told me they could help me. I went for 5 to 6 weeks and it didn't help me at all. It was a waste of time and money.
"Last year, I went to physical therapy and they showed me how to sit, stand, and get in and out of the car. They did lower back massages but still didn't help me. After weeks of this I stopped going.
"So when my doctor suggested another physical therapist, Ernie Quinlisk, and said he was the best, I thought what do I have to lose, anything is worth a try. The first session I had, I wasn't sure it would work. His technique was very different. Then, on a Thursday, Ernie taped my leg to help get the pain from my knee and ankle to quit hurting. I thought, "How is this going to work?" but it did. I was to take the tape off on Saturday, but I didn't want to because I had no pain. I was afraid if I did it would come back. But on Saturday I took it off, I had no pain and I couldn't believe it!
"When I went back on Monday, Ernie was using his technique and when he was working on my ear he hit the nerve that went down my leg that was causing all the pain. It was amazing while he was using his technique I had feeling in my thigh. It was like when part of your body falls asleep and you get that tingling feeling. The more he worked on me the less pain and more sensation I had in my thigh.
"I am very pleased with my progress. My leg pain is gone and I have feeling in my thigh, which I never thought I would have again.
"I would recommend this type ofphysical therapy clinic to anyone who wants to feel better. Not only has it helped with my pain, I'm more calm, I have a better disposition, and I feel so much more like dealing with life now than I did while I was carrying around all the pain I had."
Thank you so much,
Mary D.
"After several months of nagging pain, burning and stiffness in my right shoulder, I was to the point that I was getting nightly migraines, and could barely move my right side at all. I went to see a chiropractor, and was informed that my right rib was elevated because of the tension from the damaged muscles and tendons, and the damage could be too severe if he tried to adjust it. He suggested I see a physical therapist. I must admit that when Ernie first started with his non-painful, 20-minute treatment, I was thinking to myself, "yeah right, like THIS is going to do anything?" I was absolutely amazed to say the least! I saw immediate results, and the relief I have felt is beyond words. I plan on seeing Ernie again immediately should the need arise, and I would highly recommend him to anyone."

"I was experiencing some back pain for about 2 months, which got pretty severe in the last 3 weeks. I tried getting massages, back pain, medication, exercise, and anything else that my friends and family suggested including smearing some awful smelling ointments on my back. After trying to cure myself, I finally decided to visit my doctor. She did the usual battery of tests and couldn't figure out why I was experiencing pain.
Read more...She sent me off with muscle relaxants. I was still left with fairly severe back pain that did not allow me to sleep through the night. I remembered visiting Ernie Quinlisk for my foot and recalled that after 3 visits all the pain and discomfort had totally disappeared. I decided to pay him a visit. Since I could not pinpoint a specific area of my back that hurt and also did not know what had caused the pain, he decided to check where the pain was and did some "twicking" to get rid of the pain. I went home pain free and slept through the night for the very first time in months. He also showed me some ways to help with upper and lower back pain if it re-appeared. To date I have had to only perform these "exercises" twice and each time the pain has vanished. I am a believer of Ernie's methods as they have allowed me to be pain free once again."

"I have worked with Ernie Quinlisk a number of times dealing with a variety of problems. These included the rehab of two ACL reconstructions, a couple cases of pinched nerves, and a dislocated elbow. I have found him to provide treatment that was head and shoulders above that I received anywhere else. He was extremely knowledgeable about the various difficulties I presented. His treatment was compassionate, competent, and efficient. I would highly recommend him to anyone."

"After my most recent arthroscopic knee surgery, I was referred to Ernie Quinlisk. Because of various injuries I've sustained over the past several years, I have been treated by a number of Physical Therapists. I'm extremely pleased with the results I've achieved while working with Ernie. I've found Ernie to be an active listener, who then tailors his treatment plan to my specific needs. In addition to traditional therapy, Ernie employs non-traditional methods where appropriate in order to achieve the best possible results for his patients. Thanks to Ernie, I feel that I now have near-term alternatives to a total knee replacement. I highly recommend Ernie for your Physical Therapy needs."

"I first heard about Ernie Quinlisk from one of my office mates. She had received a severe knee injury playing ice hockey, which required surgery. Afterward, she went to see Ernie for P.T. I was surprised at how fast she recovered from the injury she suffered. She was walking without pain within a few sessions and back playing hockey the next season.
Read more...About a year ago I took a bad fall from a high stool and injured my lower back. I could hardly walk and was in a lot of pain for almost two months. I tried to "work it out" on my own, doing yoga and taking over-the-counter medication. It didn't work. On my office mate's recommendation, I decided to go see Ernie. This was my first experience with P.T. Ernie was professional, knowledgeable, sympathetic and holistic in his approach to treatment. After approximately six weeks of treatment I was pain free and felt like myself again. I still practice the exercises given to me a year ago and was able to do my annual walk in the "Race for the Cure" this year. This would have been unthinkable a year ago."

"I was referred to Ernie Quinlisk for treatment for an injured knee. During the course of my treatment I complained of multiple sclerosis (MS) pain. That is what my neurologist and the various MS pamphlets refer to as pain in the legs, muscles, ligaments, and joints of MS patients. Ernie was skeptical of this erratic pain. He suggested that he try a new technique call Primal Reflex Release™. He said it may arrest the pain for awhile (several days) and eventually, through repeated Reflex Release™ treatments, eliminate the pain altogether. Now it was my turn to be skeptical.
"The technique took only 5-10 minutes and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the gnawing pain had disappeared. Ernie said I probably could be pain-free for several days. Much to my surprise, the MS pain didn't return for 3 days! After my second treatment, the pain was gone for 5 days; then a week! Ernie showed my husband several of the techniques that he could do at home, on a regular basis. And when we are conscientious about doing the 5 minute Primal Reflex Release™, my days are pain-free."
